The weather quiets down overnight

Forecast post last updated by Devontae Jackson at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 3, 2018. After a busy and noisy afternoon and evening. We will get a break from the rough weather beginning around midnight into the 1 a.m. hour. Thunderstorms will move off to the east with some lingering showers possible. Some rain could change over to snow showers around 5 or 6 a.m. Snow showers could last until about late morning Wednesday. Snow accumulations look slim to none at this point, a trace of snow at most. Then we will see a break from the precipitation pretty much altogether. Although, a passing flurry or sprinkle cannot be ruled out during the afternoon on Wednesday.

Cooler temperatures

Temperatures tonight will take a tumble downward. At midnight we will be in the mid 50’s and by noon tomorrow, we will be in the lower 30’s. Temperatures won’t really go anywhere when they get into the 30’s tomorrow as well. Some of us have a chance of getting near 40 degrees tomorrow.
