A second line of storms are expected this evening, here are the severe weather threats

Severe Weather Threats For Tuesday, Apr. 3, 2018

Will storms be as impactful this evening as they were this afternoon?

Forecast post last updated by Devontae Jackson at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 3, 2018. Showers and storms that moved through the area earlier this afternoon. May have caused the atmosphere to stabilize some. More than likely there is probably some instability left in the atmosphere. Although with the rain and storms earlier and with the sun going down. The storms may still be strong but not as strong as the storms we saw earlier today. On to our weather threats, the tornado and hail chance is low. Our damaging wind and flooding chance is sitting at moderate. So with that being said, our main threats tonight is damaging winds and flooding. Now, just because the tornado and hail threat is low, doesn’t mean it can’t be ruled out. You should stay weather aware through the night.
